Her background provides a unique combination of practical understanding and analytical skills that are particularly valuable in complex cases where the need for innovative solutions is great. Line will not give up until she has found the best solution for her clients. Line's doctoral project is about liability for damages in corporations, where she has looked in particular at how system requirements across the corporate structure affect the assessment of liability. In her doctoral project, she looked in particular at how requirements for due diligence for human rights and decent working conditions affected the allocation of liability. On the basis of her doctoral work, she has also published the book "Liability for damages in corporations – especially on system requirements for due diligence assessments". As part of her doctoral work, Line also took her dog and children to a six-month research stay in Copenhagen, an experience that has given her valuable international experience and a large international network.

Line also writes legal commentaries, and has, among other things, written legal commentaries on the Transparency Act, the Act on Sustainable Products and the Non-Profit Register Act. In addition, she regularly writes articles and feature articles. She also teaches at the University of Bergen (UiB) and the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in private law subjects, and is a supervisor and examiner at most of the country's educational institutions.

Line has experience from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries, where she worked with both national and international processes in the business policy department. She is also a sought-after speaker in the business world. Among other things, she has been a network leader in the JUC network in company law and transactions, and regularly gives lectures both nationally and internationally. She is also a member of the steering committee of the Nordic Company Law Network, and has extensive experience from the faculty board at the Faculty of Law in Bergen.
